Honey from Heilbronn City Centre.

Do bees find enough food in the city? What motivates us to keep bees?

Food for Bees

Our bee colonies are located in the direct vicinity of the St. Augustine church in the eastern part of the Heilbronn city centre.

The honey bees collect nectar from flowers and honeydew from trees in the surrounding urban area. Here they find plants in neighbouring gardens, on green roof terraces and balconies,

and in the numerous parks.

The nearby botanical orchard alone provides our bees with a rich and uninterrupted supply of a wide variety of plants throughout the season.

The bees find the sweet honeydew on numerous trees.

Beekeeping as a Hobby

Enthusiastic about the phenomenon honey bee we started beekeeping as a hobby in 2013. With beekeeping we would like to contribute to the preservation of these fascinating animals and the diversity of species in our nature.

In our manufactory we harvest and process exclusively our own honey in careful, traditional manual work. This is how a first-class regional product is created.
