The garden beekeeper's bees are in the rape for the first time this year, namely at a field of Joachim Rukwied, President of the German Farmers' Association.

During a perusal together with the beekeeper mentor it came today to a nice spontaneous meeting with Mr. Rukwied at the apiary in the rape field.

This is a nice example of how agriculture and beekeeping can benefit from each other as partners: The pollination performance of honey bees increases the yield for the farmer, and the beekeeper is happy about lots of delicious rapeseed honey.
