Swarm Number Three.
This swarm of bees in the eastern part of Heilbronn required a ladder and some acrobatics while salvaging, and brought the garden beekeeper a number of stings, especially on the head. The bees were kind enough to sting both earlobes, so that the swelling is now at least symmetrical, and one could think "this is how it's meant to be".
The garden beekeeper learns: swarms are not always peaceful. Next time at least a veil hat will probably be worn.
And as if he would have guessed, he swept off a drone brooding people in the morning, so that a box for the newcomer "just in time" happened to become free. In there the swarm was logged in directly on site.
In the evening, it was time for a well-deserved cool beer with feet high. Looking at the work and counting the colonies in the garden and coming up to 13, the garden beekeeper thinks that this should not go on like this.
