Swarm Number Two.
Swarm of bees in the Campuspark near the BUGA grounds: Right next to a playground, a swarm of bees lay on the ground last Sunday after the branch where it had settled in lofty heights broke.
After a part of the bees, together with the queen, was in the bucket, the other bees followed in an impressive caravan into the bucket. The last of them was shown the way to the temporary "box" by the worker bees.
Once at home, the swarm was given a "real" bee box, equipped with wooden frames for building fresh combs.
