On Saturday, after a cool and rainy week, a bee colony decided to swarm. Looks like the garden beekeeper missed a swarming cell after all.

Saw it, found the queen sitting in front of the hive (she is somewhat disabled to a certain extent and therefore cannot fly properly), put her in the entrance hole where she disappeared as quickly as possible. The stinging bees said "Come back sisters, mummy is in here", and after half an hour everything was as if nothing had ever happened.

One thing is for sure: they are nice girls.
