Formic Acid Against the Varroa Mite.
The bee colonies were treated with formic acid for the first time this year. Many bees escape the corrosive climate by gathering outside the boxes in the form of "bees beards".
However, the estimated 1000 mites dead (to be recognized as oval dark spots) on one of the "diapers" that fell within 2 days, show that the treatment was successful.
After this treatment, feeding to winter weight begins.
