Last preparations for the bee season: the frames, which are melted out in autumn, are first cleaned mechanically and then washed in caustic soda. The wires are retightened and new wax foundations of pure beeswax are soldered into the frames by heating the wires briefly with electric current.

If it were up to the garden beekeeper, then it should now slowly start. Only the weather still has to play along...
